Solve All Your Brow Struggles

Follow these steps to create beautifully drawn eyebrows:

Step 1: Groom Your Natural Brows:

• Use your spoolie brush to brush your brow hairs upwards and outwards, following their natural direction. This will reveal your natural shape and any sparse areas.   
  
  • Actionable Tip: Trim any excessively long hairs that extend significantly beyond your brow line using small, sharp brow scissors. Brush the hairs upwards and snip only the tips.

Step 2: Outline the Shape (The Foundation):

• Using your brow pencil or a small amount of pomade on your angled brush, lightly outline the desired shape of your eyebrows.
• Bottom Line: Start by creating a soft line along the bottom edge of your brow, from the start (near your nose bridge) to the arch and then down to the tail (the end point).
• Top Line: Next, create a soft line along the top edge of your brow, following its natural curve from the start to the arch and then extending slightly towards the tail.
  • Key Point: The start of your brow should generally align with the bridge of your nose, the arch should peak roughly above the outer third of your eye, and the tail should taper off towards the end of your eye.

Step 3: Fill in Sparse Areas (Adding Dimension):

• For a softer look (using powder): Dip your angled brush into your brow powder and gently tap off any excess. Use light, short, feathery strokes to fill in the sparse areas within your outlined shape. Focus on mimicking the direction of your natural hair growth.
• For more definition (using pencil or pomade): Use light, hair-like strokes to fill in sparse areas, paying attention to the direction of your natural hair. For pomade, use a small amount on your angled brush and build up the intensity gradually.

Step 4: Blend, Blend, Blend (The Key to Naturalness):

• Use your spoolie brush to thoroughly blend the product through your brow hairs. This softens any harsh lines and creates a more natural and diffused look. Brush upwards at the start of your brow for a lifted effect and then follow the natural direction of growth towards the tail.

Step 5: Set Your Brows (Long-Lasting Hold):

• Apply a clear or tinted brow gel to set your brow hairs in place and prevent smudging. Brush the gel through your brows in the direction you want them to sit. Tinted gel can add a touch more color and definition.

Optional Step 6: Clean Up the Edges (For a Polished Look):

• Apply a small amount of concealer just below and above your eyebrow outline using a flat brush. Blend the concealer outwards to create a clean, sharp, and defined shape. This step is particularly effective for a more dramatic or polished makeup look.
